Is there a calendar/list with all 36 units and the number of sessions in each one?

    • Aaron Armstrong says

      July 17, 2018 at 12:49 pm

Hi Lizzy, our study plan for the 2018-2021 cycle is available here.

Do you still have pictures for each week and Mainpoints for Unit 1 and Unit 2? I only found the corrected Unit 3.

    • Jeremy Carroll says

      July 25, 2018 at 1:39 pm

Sharon, those are included on the discs or digital download, depending on how you purchase resources.

  3. Lindsay says

How far out will this page be changed to have the Volume 2: Out of Egypt info and each subsequent volume? Just curious what to expect.

    • Jeremy Carroll says

      August 16, 2018 at 5:14 pm

Hi, Lindsay. This specific page will not be updated. A new post will be created for Volume 2 (and so on). That post will generally go live about 1 month before our suggest dates. For Volume 2 we are shooting to have the post up around October 29, 2018.

Our church just switched from “Explore the Bible”, so I’m trying to figure out the similarities and differences. Does the Gospel Project that take-home sheets with a lesson summary and Family Bible Reading Plan?

    • Jeremy Carroll says

      August 16, 2018 at 5:18 pm

For The Gospel Project for Kids, our take home resources are our Activity Page and Big Picture Cards for Families. Those resources are available for purchase at lifeway.com/kids.

We do not have a specific reading plan that connects to our Bible study sessions.

Is there a printable with the Unit Key Passage on it?

    • Jeremy Carroll says

      August 17, 2018 at 8:38 am

Amy, yes, there is a key passage poster and slide found on the discs that comes in the Leader Kit or as a download with the digital bundle.

Do you still have printables with the main idea ,big picture question, and key passage on them? I have always found these very useful and will surely miss those if they are not available.

    • Jeremy Carroll says

      August 17, 2018 at 8:36 am

Sandra, these resources are still available. They would be found on the CD that comes in the Leader Kit or as a download with the digital bundle.

    • Aaron Armstrong says

      August 19, 2018 at 9:01 pm

Do you mean the Bible story videos? They’re included in the Leader Kits and Digital Bundles.

  9. Tammy Jones says

    August 20, 2018 at 9:48 am

We have purchased the Leader kit and use the videos as part of introduction each Sunday. We will soon be moving from a projection system to a smart television with an Apple TV for showing these videos to the kids. Will be need to purchase an additional digital download?

    • Aaron Armstrong says

      August 20, 2018 at 11:41 am

Nope, there’s a download code in your leader kit that gets you digital copies of the videos, so you’re all set.

  10. Sandy says

Are digital versions of the Big Picture Cards available in the Resource Kit or online. I’ve looked on the Kids Leader Kit Enhanced CD and online, and cannot find them.

    Thanks!

    • Aaron Armstrong says

    • Brian Dembowczyk says

      September 4, 2018 at 2:02 pm

Hi, Kim. Sorry for just noticing this. If you ordered a physical Worship Hour Add-On, that pack should have come with a DVD case and one worship guide bound to it. There is also a Worship Guide PDF on the presentation disc in that case for you to print off additional copies as needed.

      Sue,
I just found it under Unit 1, Printables-Preschool Worship, on this page. Scroll up and you’ll see it.

Do you have a Corrected Older Kids Activity Page Answers for Session 1 to go with the Corrected Activity Page? It looks like the one we downloaded has Day 3 and 4 backward. Also note that the full tgp03v1k_unit1_printables_kids.zip package has the wrong document for the tgp03v1k_unit1_printables_activitypageanswers_older.pdf; it looks like it is the full package of the activity pages instead. But, we were able to get the right file, other than what is mentioned above, from the Support Materials individual document download area.

Being part of a small church (less than 50 in Sunday School) I was surprised and disappointed that the timeline was not included as part of the teacher’s Leaders Kit. It is referenced in every lesson but costs extra to have. I would like to suggest that they include it in the future.

    • Brian Dembowczyk says

      September 12, 2018 at 4:35 pm

Hi, Amy. The size of that Giant Timeline makes it impossible to include in a Leader Kit. Also, that timeline is used for a complete 3-year-cycle, so it is not feasible to include it in the Leader Kits each quarter. We strive to price the resources as low as possible, and that resource is intended for three-years of use, so we hope churches find it to be a good value.

      • AmyS says

        September 14, 2018 at 3:43 pm

Brian, thank you for your reply. We did go ahead and purchase one of the small timelines and put it on display in a general location for everyone to enjoy.

        • Kim says

          October 6, 2018 at 7:37 pm

We are also a small church. We purchased the Giant Timeline for the last 3-year series curriculum and actually found it to be too large for our classroom space and were unable to use it. This time we just purchased the regular timeline posters and we have them laminated to last longer.

Hi! When I click on parent resources, a file saves on my computer (instead of opening a new tab with a PDF) and it’s all gobbledygook. Or HTML but to me that’s the same. insert laughing emoji.

Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

    • Brian Dembowczyk says

      September 16, 2018 at 4:45 pm

Hi, Melissa. That file is an RTF file that needs to be opened in Word for it to be read best.

  18. Beth Lehman says

    September 21, 2018 at 9:56 am

When I first looked at this resource list in August, it said a 1-person script for large group worship would be coming soon. I checked today, and that has been removed. Will there be a one-person script? We’re a small church, with only about 8 children for Children’s Church. We don’t have the resources to have 2 teachers prep the lesson each week.

    • Brian Dembowczyk says

      September 21, 2018 at 10:46 am

Hi, Beth. We are still considering that. As the team has worked on that more, it is becoming apparent that the changes we are making are pretty minor—just taking out the two character names and merging text together with a few slight adjustments. So we are weighing the value of providing that long-term or not.

  19. Debbie Nelson says

    September 27, 2018 at 3:45 pm

This is our first time to use this curriculum. I really love it overall and love that all ages are learning the same Bible story and Story Point. It makes it so much easier to let our parents know about what their kids are learning.
I was a little disappointed that the Preteen material is almost exactly the same as the older kids curriculum. I was expecting some different activities geared toward our Grade 5 & 6 kids. Our preteens were finding it pretty young for them. We have purchased the Middle school curriculum too, but some of it is really too old for them. I hate to have my teachers trying to come up with their own supplemental activities when we have purchased two different lessons for them to use.

    • Brian Dembowczyk says

      September 27, 2018 at 4:45 pm

Hi, Debbie. Glad that The Gospel Project is going well overall for you. About the preteen supplement—the content will be very similar as the Older Kids Leader guide, but with more of a conversational structure which also gives preteens the opportunity to spend more time in their Bibles. Our belief is that the content itself relates well for preteens, that is why it is nearly the same, but that a slightly different approach would be helpful as they straddle being kids and being teens.

I’m looking for the Bible Story Picture printables for Volume 1. Are those only included on the “Enhanced CD” that I ordered? It would be great if I could find them somewhere online because most laptops nowadays do not have a CD drive. I have to go borrow a computer in order to retrieve these resources. Is there somewhere I could find them online?

    • Brian Dembowczyk says

      October 14, 2018 at 12:20 pm

Hi, Morgan. The activity printables are online, but the Teaching Pictures are only on the Enhanced CD. You can also purchase a preprinted set of Posters if you prefer.

When will the resources for “Out of Egypt” be posted? I’m looking for the “Shadow Shapes” printable. Also, is there a shorter version of the Bible verse Hosea 13:4 for preschoolers? The books says Hosea 13:4b but all the verses on the preschool CD are all of Hosea 13.

I am so terribly frustrated with your webpage!! I cannot find where to download and print the additional materials for the sessions. For instance last week I printed out the geneology cards for my preschool class (Unit 19 Session 1). I saw some other cards for Session 2 but for the life of me I cannot find where to go back and print them.
Please help! I waited for over 15 minutes on the telephone for one of your represenitives and then started the conversation and the phone call dropped. GRRRRR

    • Brian Dembowczyk says

      March 2, 2020 at 11:58 am

Sorry that you are frustrated. You can find what you need on the additional resources page for the volume you are on. This page is volume 1; you are on volume 7 for unit 19. Then the printables are part of the content filed by unit and age.

Also, you can access all of the printables on the Enhanced CD in the Leader Kit, or in the digital bundle files if you order digital materials.
