The 2020 Christmas bonus content is now available! We are making these files available for download right here on gospelproject.com.

Preschool and Kids

Four sessions are provided for preschool and kids. The three bonus sessions are the same bonus sessions as in 2018 and 2019. The Christmas session itself, “Jesus Was Born,” is brand new, the one session that is part of the regular session plan and available with the Volume 10 contents.

If you are on the suggested use schedule and do not plan to use the extra bonus sessions, then you can access what you need as usual through your Volume 10 materials. However, if you are off-cycle and/or want to use the bonus sessions, all of the content is available through the links below.

The suggested use schedule for this Christmas is:

  1. Prophets Told about Jesus (bonus) 12/6/20
  2. Angels Spoke to Mary and Joseph (bonus) 12/13/20
  3. Jesus Was Born 12/20/20
  4. Wise Men Visited Jesus (bonus) 12/27/20

Note that some of the items, such as the preteen option, is only available for the standard Christmas session, and is not available for the bonus sessions. Music is not provided.

Students and Adults

There are no bonus sessions for Students and Adults, only the one Christmas session that is part of the regular session plan, “The Word Became Flesh” for use on 12/20/20.

If you are on the suggested use schedule, then you can access this session as usual through your Volume 10 materials. However, if you are off-cycle and need this session for use before purchasing Volume 10, you can download the content with the links below.

Brian Dembowczyk is the author of Gospel-Centered Kids Ministry and Cornerstones: 200 Questions and Answers to Learn Truth, and served as the Kids Team Leader (2014–2021), and Managing Editor of The Gospel Project (2017–2021). Before coming to Lifeway, Brian served in local church ministry for seventeen years in family, discipleship, and pastoral ministry. Brian earned a D.Min. from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and an M.Div. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently earning a Ph.D. from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.     Thank you! Do you suggest that if we use these 4 lessons in December that we just skip the scheduled lessons? I’m assuming that you are not suggesting just pausing the schedule to fit these lessons and and push off the scheduled lessons until January, consequently making us become off-schedule.

      Our suggestion would be not to use the bonus content, and instead keep following the use schedule. But if you want to use the bonus sessions, then yes, we suggest skipping sessions for these.

    Hello! I appreciate these bonus free files for Advent season 🙂
    One question– what do the acronyms “PW” stand for when opening the Pre-School folder? How about the acronyms “KW” and “PT” when opening the Kids folder? I was able to figure out the other ones. Thank you and God bless your week!

    When I download the files there are no music files or music videos. Is that just not included? Am I missing something maybe?

    I seem to have a problem getting the Preschool Session Activity sheet to print without two black lines down the story, also the Gospel logo on the color page it blacked out. I asked our tech team and they thought you may have to decrypt it?

      You will want to check your printer settings, ensuring that Print as Image is selected.

          You will need to make sure you are opening the file in an Adobe application or similar PDF reader and that your printer settings are set-up correctly.

            It’s downloaded in Adobe, and all the other lessons, in pre-school and Kids, print fine. It seems to just be this one lesson in the preschool.

          Sorry, I mis-spoke. It’s the Younger Kids Activity Page, page 7, Christmas – Session 3. The Word Revealed. We have Adobe Pro. All other activity pages print great! It’s jus this one…

          Janet, you can edit the pages in Adobe, and take out the black lines. We played around with it yesterday. Hope that’s helpful

    I am having trouble downloading the files for preschool and kids. On the preschool download – it only had the 3rd session. Is there another page or another way to get the sessions and videos?

    I just tried to download the KW (kids worship guide) in both the pdf and word document and I am not able to download them. Can you help me please?

    Are these the same lessons from Christmas last year (2019)? Because if so, I already have the lessons and would only need the videos.
