The Art of Spiritual Conversations with Kids

March 11, 2020 | Aaron Armstrong

Many of the parents in our churches know that they are the primary disciple makers in their families. They are the ones who influence their children’s faith journey the most. But many of them also feel ill-equipped to have these kinds of spiritual conversations.

That’s why we’ve created this new resource, The Art of Spiritual Conversations with Kids. Written by Sam Luce, this free resource reminds us why these discussions are more art than science, while providing a simple framework for parents and caregivers to:

  • Focus on what is true
  • Distill, rather than over-simplify, the truth
  • Answer difficult questions honestly
  • Seize the opportunities God provides

Get your free copy of The Art of Spiritual Conversations with Kids to share with the families in your church by filling out the form below! Along with your copy of this ebook, you will also receive access to samples of our Christ-centered Bible studies from both the Old and New Testaments.

Could you share a little more detail to what is meant by distill the truth – maybe a definition? I felt like the example was good, but I’d like a little more to better understand the difference between distill and oversimplify.
